The Sikorra's grew up in the Midwest and spent time in Florida before moving to North Carolina. Prior to becoming real estate professionals, Dan earned a degree in accounting and held various executive positions in Loss Prevention. Linda has worked in the medical profession and held various corporate positions in human resources, product development & real estate. Both Dan and Linda refined their knowledge and skills in real estate in Charlotte, NC. They are outdoor enthusiasts and have five grown children.

Jerry McKinney, a Swain County native, has been with Fontana Lake Estates since 1997. Jerry now works as a broker with Fontana Realty. In addition to his brokerage duties he also the on site manager for Fontana Trace. Jerry has a Masters in Education and is a former Swain County high school principal, coach & teacher. Jerry presently serves on the Swain County Schools Scholarship Foundation, WestCare Board of Trustees, Bryson City Rotary Club & is the treasurer of the Bryson City Methodist Church.

Steven Sluyter, Steven was born in Battle Creek, Michigan and after living in California, New York and Colorado, he ended up in Charlotte, North Carolina. While living in the suburbs and working in automotive management, he dreamed of living in a natural and picturesque setting; much like his in-laws who had settled on Fontana Lake a few years ago. So, shortly after the birth of his first child, he and his lovely bride, Selina decided to make the move to Bryson City. "We wanted a community where we could work and play together in a healthy and wholesome atmosphere. And, we were thrilled to discover an area where that kind of lifestyle is still possible."

Charley Piersol , "I am an admitted "Half Back", born & raised in Pennsylvania, I moved to Florida, and now am half way back to Pennsylvania". My beloved Sharon and I are lovingly residing in Almond, NC. After a 4 year enlistment in the Air Force, I went to college getting a BS degree in Economics and began a career in the General Multi-Line Insurance, owning my own agency. I sold the agency and eventually ended up in Florida after two years in Greensboro, NC. I had changed professions and became a psychotherapist completing Graduate School at Nova University with a MS degree in counseling Psychology. I had a private practice with a group in Palm Beach County until we moved to our beloved home is Almond, NC. I failed retirement and did some Insurance work until getting my Brokers license in Real Estate.
